Joe Gaiter: How would you grade your performance at your proday?
Domonick Foy: I would grade my performance a B+.
Joe Gaiter: What was your motivation when you hit the field?
Domonick Foy: My motivation was that it was finally my time to put on a show for the scouts. I’ve been doubted my whole career but I’ve always put on when it was time to. My motivation was to just go out there and perform and a high level and have fun.
Joe Gaiter: What were some of your numbers?
Domonick Foy: My fastest 40 time was a 4.76 and at 257 pounds that’s pretty good. My broad jump was a 9’3.My short shuttle was a 4.45.And all of my other drills were good but I truly think I stood out when it came to route running and catching the ball.
Joe Gaiter: How many NFL teams were represented at your proday?
Domonick Foy: There were 15 NFL teams present and 5 CFL teams present.
Joe Gaiter: Do you feel like you trained well for your proday?
Domonick Foy: I feel like I trained as well as I could for my pro day with the resources I had available. I put in work and my position coach at Langston University Davin Hawkins really helped me get my running technique better and helped me improve my 40 time.
Joe Gaiter: What would you have done differently?
Domonick Foy: I would’ve rested my body a bit more before pro day and really stretched for 2 hours a day that’s all I would’ve done differently.
Joe Gaiter: How does your agent feel about your performance?
Domonick Foy: I currently don’t have an agent.
Joe Gaiter: Do you have any private workouts/combines or CFL tryouts coming up?
Domonick Foy: I have 3 private workouts coming up and I have 2 CFL tryouts in May that I’m getting ready for.
Joe Gaiter: Where are you training?
Domonick Foy: I’m currently training at Langston University.
Joe Gaiter: What has been the biggest lesson you have learned throughout this process?
Domonick Foy: The biggest lesson I learned is that it’s only going to get tougher as the road goes along but you have to be willing to put in the work day in and day out to get the results you want.
Joe Gaiter: What message do you have for any NFL team reading this article?
Domonick Foy: My message to any NFL team is that all I’m asking for is a shot. I want to be the hardest worker in their organization. I’m willing to come in and learn and work hard. I’m a playmaker that’s willing to learn any system and I’m a great special teams player also.
Joe Gaiter: Final Words?
Domonick Foy: My final words are God got me. In this process you really see who is with you and against you. That should be nothing more but fuel to the fire. God will remove access baggage on the way to your success.
