Johnny Daniels: It’s beyond words. Legit saved me from the wrong path and situations and helped me get a degree. Overall I would say it means livelihood.
Joe Gaiter: Tell me about your season this year?
Johnny Daniels: This season was probably the most fun I’ve had in college. Got a chance to play a lot of snaps with a group of guys I now look at as brothers and made a lot of plays that helped me be recognized by a variety of important people.
Joe Gaiter: How hungry are you to make the NFL?
Johnny Daniels: All my eggs are in this basket.
Joe Gaiter: What will you miss most about playing college ball?
Johnny Daniels: Understanding that the NFL and CFL is a business. There may not be as many personal relationships
Joe Gaiter: What would you tell yourself if you could go back to your freshman year?
Johnny Daniels: Stay in the weight room and make sure you get film!
Joe Gaiter: What is your motivation on the field?
Johnny Daniels: Just having passion for the game and my competitive mindset.
Joe Gaiter: Have you reached your athletic peak?
Johnny Daniels: In my opinion, I’m very far from that point.
Joe Gaiter: What are the keys in playing your position?
Johnny Daniels: Hips, hands, feet, having a motor, production, and discipline are all important factors in playing defensive line.
Joe Gaiter: Do you have a backup if you don’t get drafted?
Johnny Daniels: Yes, I have started creating an app that I’m currently pursuing.
Joe Gaiter: Who is your agent and why did you chose them?
Johnny Daniels: James Peterson and Glen Wallace. I chose them because I feel like the vibes they were giving off were sincere, they were being honest which is all I ask for, and they are going to help me as much as they can.
Joe Gaiter: When is your proday?
Johnny Daniels: It was March 6th, I’m currently trying to participate in another.
Joe Gaiter: Where and how often are you training?
Johnny Daniels: I trained at Over the Edge Fitness in Oak Park for a month, then I started training in Woodridge Illinois.
Joe Gaiter: What do you want your legacy to be?
Johnny Daniels: I want to always be remembered as someone who was unforgettable on and off the field and respected.

Johnny Daniels: Learning to be patient and accept everything the way it is, it’s all God’s doing. It’ll work itself out.
