Joe Gaiter: What does football mean to you?
Lawrence Pittman: Football is a way of life for me. I love how you need to work as a team in order for any play to work. It is a true team sport.
Joe Gaiter: Tell me about your season this year?
Lawrence Pittman: This season was very good. I was very happy to win the South Atlantic Conference Championship with my team and also be awarded the Offensive player of the year for the conference.
Joe Gaiter: How hungry are you to make the NFL?
Lawrence Pittman: I am extremely hungry. This is something that I have been dreaming about since kindergarten.
Joe Gaiter: What will you miss most about playing college ball?
Lawrence Pittman: I miss my the college atmosphere the games are always very exciting. I will also miss playing with my teammates.
Joe Gaiter: What would you tell yourself if you could go back to your freshman year?
Lawrence Pittman: Just stay patient your time is coming keep continuing to do what you are doing the coaches will notice and your opportunity is on the way.
Joe Gaiter: What is your motivation on the field?
Lawrence Pittman: My family and teammates. I never want to let them down I try to give it everything I have for them.
Joe Gaiter: Have you reached your athletic peak?
Lawrence Pittman: Absolutely not. I am continuing to get stronger faster and work in my craft day in and day out.
Joe Gaiter: Do you have a backup if you don’t get drafted?
Lawrence Pittman: If I do not get drafted I will continue to try my best to get into the NFL as a undrafted free agent. If football is not in God’s plan for me I will go back to school and finish my exercise science degree.
Joe Gaiter: Who is your agent and why did you chose them?
Lawrence Pittman: Gary Shipman, he was honest with me and made me feel like family.
Joe Gaiter: When is your pro-day?
Lawrence Pittman: My pro day was March 13th
Joe Gaiter: Where and how often are you training?
Lawrence Pittman: I am training at the Michael Johnson performance training facility in Texas. We trained just about everyday for about 2 and a half months.
Joe Gaiter: What do you want your legacy to be?
Lawrence Pittman: I want to be known as a player who worked extremely hard for everything he got.
