Joe Gaiter: What does football mean to you?
Jhanard Dorsett: It’s beyond just putting on pads to go practice/play in a game. It’s when I put on this helmet and strap it up, somebody in trouble! I use this as an example to show my passion for the game. I eat, sleep, and breathe.Football. It’s something I know I wouldn’t mind doing for the rest of my life!
Joe Gaiter: Tell me about your season this year?
Jhanard Dorsett: In the 2017 season I started the year off tying with the 4th highest rushing total with 157 in my first game. I end my season leading the team in all-purpose yards with 1157, rushing yards with 667 averaging 4.7 yards a carry, and touchdowns.
Joe Gaiter: How hungry are you to make the NFL?
Jhanard Dorsett: It’s been a dream my whole life! Not to just Play in the NFL but to dominate! Win Rings be able to give back and show my younger siblings that it can be done if you WORK hard!
Joe Gaiter: What will you miss most about playing college ball?
Jhanard Dorsett: The thing I’ll miss about college ball is my.brothers; I’ve met a lot of good men there who I wish nothing but the best for!
Joe Gaiter: What would you tell yourself if you could go back to your freshman year?
Jhanard Dorsett: Keep working hard you got this!
Joe Gaiter: Why should someone pick you over someone that plays your same position?
Jhanard Dorsett: I’m not just a player who comes in to work! I’m coming in with a mindset of everyone getting better! I won’t let anyone slack in front of me. I will challenge people to be the best while I give my best! Plus I’m very versatile I can play in the slot, RB, KR, PR or WR for a deep threat.
Joe Gaiter: Have you reached your athletic peak? I feel like I’m only at the beginning!
Jhanard Dorsett: I know God has so much more planned for me not only as an athlete but as a person!
Joe Gaiter: What is your motivation on the field?
Jhanard Dorsett: My motivation on the field Is my Will and drive to compete! Like Marshawn said “I know I’m gon get got but I’m gon get mine more than I get got”
Joe Gaiter: Do you have a backup if you don’t get drafted?
Jhanard Dorsett: Yes, if I don’t get drafted I’m going to continue to work, nothing has ever been given to me so why should I expect it to be easy now? I don’t trust easy…
Joe Gaiter: Who is your agent and why did you chose them?
Jhanard Dorsett: I am currently without an agent
Joe Gaiter: Where and how often are you training?
Jhanard Dorsett: I train a little bit of everywhere, I’ve train with Tom Shaw, Golden Feet Global, Rise in Palm beach.
