Joe Gaiter: Why do you feel that you haven’t received that call yet from a team?
Julian Lowe: If I had to take a guess it was because of small school. My school wasn’t a prestige small school. Although we were in the most prestige conference Ohio Athletic Conference.
Joe Gaiter: What teams showed interest in you?
Julian Lowe: Baltimore was at the top from performance at Dream Bowl. Talked with Colts, Bengals, Browns, Giants, Dallas
Joe Gaiter: What are your strengths and weakness on the field?
Julian Lowe: My strength is my versatility. Not only can I perform at an elite level at my position (receiver) but I am a football player at the end of the day. I can tackle, I have defense in background, I can rush along with receive.
My weakness I would have to say is my size (5’11” 190), I believe I make up for it with my strength and quickness
Joe Gaiter:What is your game plan now?
Julian Lowe: Game plan is to stay ready, I’m not down, I’m staying positive in my approach. Will continue to wait on that phone call.
Joe Gaiter: What is your motivation at this point to keep trying to showcase your talent?
Julian Lowe: My motivation is that I have no doubt in myself. I know I can compete at that level, I’ve competed with the talent that is there now.
Joe Gaiter: What lessons are you learning throughout this NFL Draft/NFL Free Agent journey?
Julian Lowe: Lessons I’ve learned is that it’s more about needs than just making any team.
Joe Gaiter: How has your agent helped you in your journey?
Julian Lowe: Eli has been great through his whole process, he’s reached out to different organizations, has gotten me everywhere I needed to be. Has been an excellent help
Joe Gaiter: Do you feel like you were prepared for the business side of the NFL?
Julian Lowe: I felt prepared for it. Understanding that this is a business is big in your mental approach. Also doesn’t mean that I won’t have a chip on my shoulder for being passed on up to this point.
Joe Gaiter: How do you remain to stay positive?
Julian Lowe: I stay positive because I have no doubt in myself, I know my training, my work ethic and my skill set is better than good enough to play.
Joe Gaiter: Where are you currently training?
Julian Lowe: D1 Sports Training Columbus.
Joe Gaiter: If things don’t work out this season, will you try again next year?
Julian Lowe: Absolutely!
Joe Gaiter: Final Words?
Julian Lowe: I will stay ready and will continue to better my game. I’m still optimistic my time will come. This is a process, and I have to continue overcome my obstacles
