Nicholas Williams: I played Junior and senior years of high school then junior and senior years of college. Total of four years of organized football in my entire life. Started only 2 of those four seasons. I’ve always grew up in the projects playing “pick up get tackled” There was no age limit if you were out there it was fair game they showed no mercy. That’s where I gained my athleticism and toughness.

Nicholas Williams: My passion, versatility, and my knowledge of the game.
Joe Gaiter: Why do you feel you were overlooked during this NFL draft/free agent season?
Nicholas Williams: I feel that I was over looked obviously because of my lack of stats. There are definitely some great talent in this year’s draft class but I am a true competitor. I can’t help but to recall the losing season that my team had my senior season. But it happens to the best of teams. I learned lots of lessons.
Joe Gaiter: What is your game plan to get on a team next season?
Nicholas Williams: To continue to stay in the absolute best shape possible. Physical, mentally, and spiritually
Joe Gaiter: What lessons are you learning throughout this NFL Draft/NFL Free Agent journey?
Nicholas Williams: I’m learning that you have to show teams that you belong on their team. You have to remain humble.
Joe Gaiter: How has your agent helped you?
Nicholas Williams: He has mostly helped me make those connections to different teams. Getting me taken care of with different private workouts.
Joe Gaiter: How do you work through depression and frustration during this time?
Nicholas Williams: Prayer.
Joe Gaiter: Where are you training to stay ready?
Nicholas Williams: LA Fitness.
Joe Gaiter: Why should any team give you a chance?
Nicholas Williams: I feel that a team should take the chance on me because I am the kind of guy that is very hardworking. I’m a true competitor. I’m different than your average athlete.
Joe Gaiter: Is it football or nothing?
Nicholas Williams: I have other avenues however, Football has changed my life. It’s only right that I use it to give back and change other lives through the game that we all love.
Joe Gaiter: Do you have any regrets?
Nicholas Williams: I really appreciate the good that happens in my life as well as the bad. I can’t recall one thing that I regret. Every loss is a lesson.
Joe Gaiter: What advice do you have for the 2019 NFL Draft Class?
Nicholas Williams: If you are a small school athlete, nobody knows who you are. Make it happen. Be phenomenal or be forgotten.
Joe Gaiter: Final Words/Shoutouts?
Nicholas Williams: I’d like to give the honor to God first. Also I’d like to thank my team, my brand. Major love to Gaiter Sports Wire for doing what they know how to do best.
