Joe Gaiter: What will you miss most about playing at Bethel University?
Anthony Patrick: The environment I will miss the most it was electrifying on game-days. Being a wildcat is a great feeling!
Joe Gaiter: What are the keys in playing Line Backer?
Anthony Patrick: Leadership, aggressive, Great Awareness , Discipline, Nose for the football.
Joe Gaiter: Do you feel like your talents have been underrated?
Anthony Patrick Most small school guys don’t get a lot of credit. You turn on the film and watch me play you will see a guy that’s relentless. Gets the job done and make plays. Regardless of who is in front of me.
Joe Gaiter: What has been your biggest accomplishments?
Anthony Patrick: Achieving all conference linebacker award. Having a 10-0 regular season record best team ever in Bethel University History. As well as being a Team Captain and Bowl Game Invites.
Joe Gaiter: What would you say is your biggest strengths on the field?
Anthony Patrick: I am a linebacker that can diagnose plays fast. I have great instincts always know where the ball is going before the snap. Run side line to side line. Great pad level when I take on blocks and hitting the ball carrier. Being fast helps me out a lot!
Joe Gaiter: When did you first start playing football?
Anthony Patrick: I started playing football when I was 8 years old with my cousins in the backyard.
Joe Gaiter: Why should a NFL/CFL team pick you over someone who plays your same position?
Anthony Patrick: Everything I do I leave the tank empty. Whether it’s at practice or GameDay I come ready to work. Not going to find too many people that’s itching for greatness to be the best 24/7. You will be getting a linebacker that will apply Pressure Every Down and do what it takes to get to the ball.
Joe Gaiter: When is your Proday/Combine?
Anthony Patrick I will be attending Beyond Sports Combine in Indianapolis late February. As well will be attending University of Vanderbilt Pro day as well as University Tennessee Martin.
Joe Gaiter: Where are you training during this time?
Anthony Patrick: I am training in Murfreesboro, TN with Beasley Elite Sports Training.
Joe Gaiter: What is life like for you off the field?
Anthony Patrick: Empowering others plotting on the next big move. Training hard and reading books.
Joe Gaiter: Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
Anthony Patrick: Playing professional football having a nonprofit helping as many people as possible.
Joe Gaiter: Do you have a plan B if football doesn’t work out?
Anthony Patrick I am a motivational speaker and an Author. I am looking to start up a nonprofit organization in Nashville TN to mentor inner city kids that doesn’t have a father figure in their life. Incorporate sports and living a positive lifestyle.
Joe Gaiter: What is your motivation?
Anthony Patrick: My mother is my motivation. Seeing her battle cancer continues to fuel me to go harder. Being a single mother she always strived to provide for me and my sisters. She deserves the world everything hasn’t been perfect. My mother deserves to enjoy the special things life has to offer.
Joe Gaiter: What is your untold story?
