Joe Gaiter: What does football mean to you?
Germell Jenkins: Football means everything to me. It really made me (along with my parents) the person I am today by allowing me to perform better in other areas of my life such as school, in order to play the game that I love. It has taught me so many lessons that I believe no other sport can teach you like football.

Joe Gaiter: What were your stats this year?
Germell Jenkins: 54 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 8 pass breakups, 4 interceptions for 172 yards (100 yard pick six), two blocks kicks and a fumble recovery.
Joe Gaiter: What will you miss most about Georgetown?
Germell Jenkins: The relationships and the comradery of the locker room! Going out every Saturday and having fun with my brothers.
Joe Gaiter: Do you feel like your talents have been underrated?
Germell Jenkins: Yes, the reason being is I feel like people do not know who I am or the potential that I have so compared to someone that may get lots of exposure, I am underrated.

Joe Gaiter: What is your untold story?
Germell Jenkins: Pushing pass the barriers to reach a level that many dont reach from a small school.
Joe Gaiter: What makes you a great safety?
Germell Jenkins: Brains! Being able to pick apart defenses and set myself up to make plays! Smart players play faster than the fastest players.
Joe Gaiter: What are your greatest strengths on the field?
Germell Jenkins: Open field tackling, range, versatility, and physicality.
Joe Gaiter: When is your combine/proday?
Germell Jenkins: Sometime in March, no specified date yet.
Joe Gaiter: How and where are you training to stay get ready for proday?
Germell Jenkins: In New Jersey with All Day Athletic, trainer named Tamir Dayya.
Joe Gaiter: How coachable are you?
Germell Jenkins: Very coachable, does whatever a coach ask of me, was voted team captain this past season by my coaches and teammates.
Joe Gaiter: Have you reached your athletic peak?
Germell Jenkins: No, there is always room for improvement.
Joe Gaiter: What is a message you want to give teams and scouts that may read this article?
Germell Jenkins:I want them to know that I am a hidden gem, and that I am coming in and doing whatever in takes to better their program on and off the field.

Joe Gaiter: What motivates you to keep pushing yourself?
Germell Jenkins: Knowing that nothing in life comes easy and you have to go get what you want. Nobody is going to hand it out to you.
Joe Gaiter: What lessons have you learned from your team this year?
Germell Jenkins: How to be a great leader and how important team chemistry and trust is.
Joe Gaiter: Why should a NFL team give you a chance?
Germell Jenkins: I believe a NFL team should give me a chance because I am a difference maker. They aren’t just getting a great football player, they are getting a great man/person. Someone who can come in and add on to the success of an organization and be willing to hit the ground running. I can help in any way shape or form that I can. Don’t let the small school factor stop teams from giving guys a shot.
