Marquis Adams: Football to me is a lifestyle, like you can tell a ball player from a normal person. Just makes me carry myself a different way from others. The game will only be good to you if you be good to it.
Joe Gaiter: What are your favorite memories of Martin Luther King Jr High School?
Marquis Adams: Our football games and graduation.
Joe Gaiter: Why did you choose Livingstone College?
Marquis Adams: Livingstone was a second choice. It was a blessing because they took me in when nobody else would.
Joe Gaiter: What makes you a great Fullback?
Marquis Adams: Mobility most fullbacks can only block. I’m more so of a running back at fullback I can move and still hold my block if I have to.
Joe Gaiter: Why should any NFL team draft you?
Marquis Adams: Because I’m bringing the flavor back to the running game of any offense and just having the opportunity would be a blessing.
Joe Gaiter: How would you grade your football IQ?
Marquis Adams: I’d give it a B.
Joe Gaiter: What is your major and how do you plan on using it?
Marquis Adams: Sports management and I plan on going back to school for my master in marketing. I plan on joining in the sports marketing industry.
Joe Gaiter: Blue Bears were 4-6 this year. What did your team challenge with this season?
Marquis Adams: Injuries held us back and offensively we had the talent. We just couldn’t get our communication together at the right time.
Joe Gaiter: What is your untold story?
My untold story is basically underrated, overlooked but somehow always get the job done. Basically, my untold story is a story that they won’t let be told.
Joe Gaiter: How was your season this year?
Marquis Adams: My stats this year have been better than my previous years, more yards and touches and a few touchdowns. My season grade seeing that I faced injuries for two games. I’ll grade myself a B-.
Joe Gaiter: What are some athletes we need to watch?
Marquis Adams: Daventa Adams, Marquis Cain, Darell Brown Jr., I could go on and on.
Joe Gaiter: What is your personality like off the field?
Marquis Adams: Very, very chill and laid back I just enjoy life.
Joe Gaiter: What do you want your legacy to be?
Marquis Adams: To show how much I bled and sweated and gave my all to the game even through injures and just to show people you don’t just give up without a fight.
Joe Gaiter: How important is community service to you?
Marquis Adams: Very important because it’s so many people in this world going through things. Just giving back to your community alone can brighten their day.
Joe Gaiter: Do you feel like your talents have been underrated?
Marquis Adams: Since I first stepped on a football field.

Marquis Adams: Well with the Virus just been in my backyard.
