Joe Gaiter: What does football mean to you?
James Brown: Football means alot. It’s more than just a game to me. I play with such passion because it’s a game that I’ve loved my entire life.
Joe Gaiter: Tell us about this season at Houston Baptist University.
James Brown: My season at HBU as an individual went okay. It could’ve been better as anything can be but I tend to set high expectations for myself.

Joe Gaiter: Why are you transferring to Northeastern Oklahoma A&M?
James Brown: Personal experiences at HBU directed my aspirations to be elsewhere and to keep my scholarship. Also having the opportunity to earn more scholarships. I took the Juco route.
Joe Gaiter: Was this a hard decision for you?
James Brown: Not at all.
Joe Gaiter: What message do you have for your fans at HBU?
James Brown: I just want to thank everybody at HBU for the love & support but I have to do what’s best for me and my family.
Joe Gaiter: What is something that your new team mates and coaches should know about you at NEO?

James Brown: I think they should know that I’m hardworking & very humble.
Joe Gaiter: Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
James Brown: Achieving my ultimate dream.
Joe Gaiter: What do you want your legacy to be?
James Brown: I want my legacy to be successful. I want to be known as that go-getter that never fell short of his goals.
