Eldin Anu: Football means everything to me, the game teaches life lessons that I can take with me throughout my life. I use football as a building block to keep growing and willing to learn.
Joe Gaiter:What is your motivation for playing the game?
Eldin Anu:I have Passion for playing the game.I love playing the game and honor My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Joe Gaiter:Tell us about your season this year?
Eldin Anu:This season I had the privilege of playing at Robert Morris University under coach Banaszak. I finish out the season strong and activated my goals I had for myself.
Joe Gaiter:What makes you ready for the NFL?
Eldin Anu:My passion and willingness to be coached. I love being able to put on a jersey and play for a team with the same objective; winning. I realize that every play, practice, and film session matters. This allows me to never be satisfied and to keep evolving as a player.
Joe Gaiter:Who would you compare your football skills to that currently plays in the NFL?
Eldin Anu:I would have to say Joe Haden, Chris Harris jr and Mike Hilton. They all play with the swagger and confidence. I like their playing style. They all produce year round.
Joe Gaiter:Who is your agent and why did you chose them?
Eldin Anu:I am currently talking to several agents at the moment. I am just trying to figure out which one is the best fit for me.
Joe Gaiter:Do you have any regrets over your college career?
Eldin Anu:I do not have any regrets, every win was enjoyable to celebrate with my teammates and every loss was a lesson learned. I would never turn down a chance to have more college eligibility but I feel like I did the best I could in my situations as a student-athlete during my time.
Joe Gaiter:Describe yourself in 3 words.
Eldin Anu:Relentless, Motivated, Confident.
Joe Gaiter:Tell us about the bond you have with your teammates?
Eldin Anu:As a whole I respect and appreciate everything my teammates sacrifice to play football with the same interest as me. Individually I enjoy learning the different characteristics of each teammate. They keep me open-minded and entertained.
Joe Gaiter:If you could go back to your freshman year, what would you do differently?
Eldin Anu:I would simply work harder in practices and games because I know what it’s like now when it is all over. No regrets right? Pun-intended.
Joe Gaiter:What separates you from other athletes that play your same position?
Eldin Anu:My speed, the way I study the game, and my willingness to learn and listen.
Joe Gaiter:What has your biggest accomplishment?
Eldin Anu:Being able to go to college for free while playing the sport I love in front of friends and family. The opportunity to continue playing at a higher level is also an accomplishment.
Joe Gaiter:Do you have a backup plan if you don’t make it to the NFL?
Eldin Anu:I hope to attend grad school and expanding my networking.
Joe Gaiter:Where and how often are you training?
Eldin Anu:I am training I at Pittsburgh Pa, I train six days a week.
