Joe Gaiter: What does football mean to you?

Braylyn Cook: Football is life to me. Football gave me opportunity to make it out and beat the odds. As well as get an education on the college level.

Joe Gaiter: What is your motivation for playing the game?

Braylyn Cook: The struggle and my mother.

Joe Gaiter: Tell us about your season this year?

 

Braylyn Cook: I wasn’t happy because we didn’t win the conference championship. That’s all that mattered to me. But I led the conference in passes defended for the 2nd straight year in a row.

Joe Gaiter: What will you miss most about Morehead State?

Braylyn Cook: My Brothers here.

Joe Gaiter: What makes you ready for the NFL?

Braylyn Cook: My competitiveness and my understanding of my position and my ball skills.

Joe Gaiter: Who would you compare your football skills to that currently play in the NFL?

Braylyn Cook: Marcus Peters or Chris Harris Jr

Joe Gaiter: Who is your agent and why did you chose them?

Braylyn Cook: I have not signed yet but I will very soon

Joe Gaiter: Do you have any regrets over your college career?

Braylyn Cook: No sir, not at all. Just wish I could’ve won a conference championship

Braylyn Cook: Winner. Competitor. Loyal.

Joe Gaiter:  If you could go back to your freshman year, what would you do differently?

 

Braylyn Cook: Watch and study more game film and break film down.

Joe Gaiter: What separates you from other athletes that play your same position?

Braylyn Cook: My knack for the ball. My ball skills. And my understanding of coverages and zones and where my help is and isn’t.

Joe Gaiter: What has your biggest accomplishment?

Braylyn Cook: 49 career passes defensed and first team All Conference.

Joe Gaiter: Do you have a backup plan if you don’t make it to the NFL?

Braylyn Cook: Civil Engineer.

Braylyn Cook: Sometime in March
