Joe Gaiter: Congratulations on signing with an agent. Who did you sign with?
Daelin Young: I signed with Derrick Parker and His partner Mickey Washington.
Joe Gaiter: Why did you choose them?
Daelin Young: The reason I signed with them was because of how straight forward these guys were. They were professional but honest about the process and how everything works with me and my family. They were very patient, and were the least bit pushy about things. The offer was there and he allowed me to take my time before finally deciding.
Joe Gaiter: Was this a hard decision?
Daelin Young: Honestly, it was a little tough. After talking with Derrick, I knew I wanted to sign with him and his team but family is a big deal my way and I wanted to be sure my family were on board as well.
Joe Gaiter: How important was finding an agent?
Daelin Young: For me, having an agent was 50/50 on a scale of importance. I wanted someone to represent me but I also knew coming from a small school, my pro-day would be a big deal. I got an agent before my pro-day but d
efinitely would have gone up in importance immediately following my pro-day.
