Joe Gaiter: What does football mean to you?
Dave White: Football means the world to me, I’ve been playing football since I was 6 years old it was definitely my first love. I always felt like football was a way to get away from the rest of my problems for the time being.
Joe Gaiter: Tell me about your season this year?
Dave White: This season was a big disappointment for me. I mean as a senior you want to go out on top and have no regrets but for me this season was tough. This season was rough my senior season was ended after 5 games to an ankle injury. So it was difficult to watch from the sidelines especially for a guy who had been a starter since my freshman year.
Joe Gaiter: How hungry are you to make the NFL?
Dave White: I’m very hungry. Making it to the NFL has always been my dream as a kid. I just want to be the next example to show that dreams do come true if you work for them.
Joe Gaiter: Are you coachable player?
Dave White: I would consider myself coachable. I’ve never had a problem in that area. I’m sure all of my old coaches can agree with that.
Joe Gaiter: What do you want your legacy to be as an athlete?
Dave White: I just want to be remembered as a hard worker, a guy who achieved greatness and got everything that he worked for.
Joe Gaiter: Have you reached your peak?
Dave White: Not even close. I want to be the best. I think my ceiling is high on how much better I can get.
Gaiter: What are the keys in playing your position?
Dave White: Patience, ball skills, great hips, great feet and eye discipline.
Joe Gaiter: Do you have a backup if you don’t get drafted?
Dave White: I recently got my degree in December for physical therapy. That was my #1 goal that I wanted to leave college with especially being the first to graduate college out of my family.
Joe Gaiter: What would you tell yourself if you could go back to your freshman year?
Dave White: Never be satisfied .
Joe Gaiter: Who is your agent and why did you chose them?
Dave White: Ryan Williams; I chose him and the agency because I felt like they were there for me through the whole process even when I sustained my injury.
Joe Gaiter: When is your proday?
Dave White: Still waiting on them to get back to me with the date.
