Adrian Campbell: Football means the world to me, I’ve been playing it since little league.
Joe Gaiter: Tell us about your season this year?
Adrian Campbell: My season was okay due to the fact that we didn’t win many games, but we were number one in pass defense in the SWAC and I finished the season with 28 tackles, 4 forced fumbles, 5 pass breakups, 1 interception, and 1 fumble recovery.
Joe Gaiter: How hungry are you to make it in the NFL?
Adrian Campbell: Playing in the NFL is all I think about.
Joe Gaiter: Who would you compare your football skill to that currently plays in the NFL?
Adrian Campbell: I watch a lot of film on Patrick Peterson and Tyrann Mathieu I try to mimic their playing styles.
Joe Gaiter: Who is your agent and why did you chose them?
Adrian Campbell: Dan Saffron is my agent and I chose him because he works with my brother already and I feel comfortable with his guidance.
Joe Gaiter: Do you have any regrets over your college career?
Adrian Campbell: No.
Joe Gaiter: Describe yourself in 3 words.
Adrian Campbell: Coachable, Intelligent, Hard worker.
Joe Gaiter: What is your motivation for playing the game?
Adrian Campbell: My motivation for playing the game is the passion and love I have for football, growing up watching football, the community, and my family they motivate everyday to be the best that I can be.
Joe Gaiter: If you could go back to your freshman year, what would you do differently?
Adrian Campbell: Choosing a school that I felt was right for me.
Joe Gaiter: How important is community service to you once you make the team?
Adrian Campbell: Community service is extremely important to me. I love helping people, if it was building a playground, painting a school, going to give my blessing at a hospital. The young generation is our future so every chance I have to talk to kids I do because I want them to have great careers.
Joe Gaiter: What separates you from other athletes that play your same position?
Adrian Campbell: What separates me from other athletes at my position is, hard work, dedication, determination, and nothing was ever given to me so I’ll always have a chip on my shoulder.
Joe Gaiter: What has your biggest accomplishment?
Adrian Campbell: My biggest accomplishment is being selected in the HBCU Spirit of America Bowl Game and graduating college.
Joe Gaiter: Do you have a backup plan if you don’t make it to the NFL?
Adrian Campbell: My back up plan if I don’t make it to the NFL is playing in any other football leagues such as the CFL and AFL. If that doesn’t work out I would be attending graduate school to pursue my Sports Administration degree.
Joe Gaiter: When is your proday?
Adrian Campbell: March 26.
Joe Gaiter: Where and how often are you training?
Adrian Campbell: I train with Pete Bommarito Monday-Friday. On the weekends my whole day consists of football and eating healthy. I work out in the morning building my strength and speed up. I also workout in the afternoon improving on my football Skills and IQ.
Joe Gaiter: What do you want your legacy to be?
Adrian Campbell I want to be one of the best to ever do it coming from a small school.
Joe Gaiter: Final Words?
Adrian Campbell: I’m excited, blessed, and thankful for this opportunity. I want to give a special shoutout to my family, coaches, and trainers.
