Kieron Williams: Football is a game that I’m glad that God allowed me to play and give me the opportunity to change my life and others lives with this game.
Joe Gaiter: Tell me about your season this year?
Kieron Williams: Not as productive as I wanted it to be, however I learned a lot about myself as a player and a man.
Joe Gaiter: How hungry are you to make the NFL?
Kieron Williams: This is something I’ve wanted to do since I was 4 years old so hungry isn’t the word I would use. I’m determined to make it to the NFL.
Joe Gaiter: What will you miss most about playing college ball?
Kieron Williams: I’ll miss my influence on kids in the area and being able to be someone they can watch on Saturdays.
Joe Gaiter: What would you tell yourself if you could go back to your freshman year?
Kieron Williams: Don’t worry, trust God.
Joe Gaiter: Why should someone pick you over someone that plays your same position?
Kieron Williams: My work ethic is top notch and I will do whatever it takes to make a play and a team.
Joe Gaiter: Have you reached your athletic peak?
Kieron Williams: Not at all.
Joe Gaiter: What is your motivation on the field?
Kieron Williams: God gave me the ability to play so if I don’t go all out I’m not using the talent that he blessed me with.
Joe Gaiter: Do you have a backup if you don’t get drafted?
Kieron Williams: Yes, I plan on going back to school to get my master’s degree.
Joe Gaiter: Who is your agent and why did you chose them?
Kieron Williams: JR Rickert and Preston James IV at JR Sports Enterprises. I have a previous relationship with Preston James IV and I trust him not only as an agent but as a person.
Joe Gaiter: Where and how often are you training?
Kieron Williams: With Ryan Clark in Baton Rouge (twice a day/every day)
Joe Gaiter: When was pro day?
Kieron Williams: March 14th.
Joe Gaiter: What do you want your legacy to be?
Kieron Williams: I want to be known as someone who overcame the odds and had success without being the first round draft pick.
Joe Gaiter: Final Words?
Kieron Williams: I just thank God for the opportunity to play football and thank everyone who has been a part of my journey.
