Herbert Moore: Football means a lot to me. Football has played a big part in my life and it made me into the person I am today.
Joe Gaiter: How did you hear the news that you were selected to be in the Spring League?
Herbert Moore: I received the invite early June.
Joe Gaiter: What position and team will you play on?
Herbert Moore: I do not know what team I will be on but I will be playing Defensive tackle.
Joe Gaiter: How do you feel the Spring League will help you in your career?
Herbert Moore: I feel like when I show of my talents to those NFL/CFL scouts I should receive some good news. I feel like this is the perfect opportunity for anyone and I’m glad they chose me.
Joe Gaiter: Do you feel like you were over looked during the NFL Draft and why?
Herbert Moore: Yea I really feel like should get a shot with some organization. I know I wasn’t high on nobody’s board but I feel like I can be a great talent and the great sleeper a team can pick up.
Joe Gaiter: What can we expect to see when you hit the field?
Herbert Moore: A lot of Run stuffing and a lot of me disrupting plays.
Joe Gaiter: Who is your agent and how have they helped you in this process?
Herbert Moore: My agent is Robert walker and he has done a good job of trying to get me a shot with someone. But it’s all Gods timing and I have faith I will get an opportunity.
Joe Gaiter: What is your motivation on the field?
Herbert Moore: My motivation is that I know what player I can be when I’m at the top of my game. And other people around me notice everywhere I go.
Joe Gaiter: Did you ever feel like giving up football completely?
Herbert Moore: Not getting an opportunity did kind of mess at times but I know how good I am and how great I can be.
Joe Gaiter: What lesson did you learn the most during your NFL Draft journey?
Herbert Moore: Don’t believe anyone outside of your circle, there is going to be a lot of people that don’t believe in your dreams. They are going to say you’re not good enough to make it. Before you think about giving up just know that it’s been someone in your position that made to the NFL.
