Joe Gaiter: What football mean to you?

Nicholas Edmond: Football means everything to me, a way out, stability, family, most importantly a safe haven.

Joe Gaiter: How would you describe your talent on the field?

Nicholas Edmond: I’d say smart, instinctive, physical and dependable. I’d describe my biggest talent as versatile. I can play more than one position. RB/FB.

Joe Gaiter: What will you miss about Morrisville State?

Nicholas Edmond: Definitely the relationships I’ve built with my teammates and coaching staff over the past few years. Definitely not the weather.

Joe Gaiter: What are your stats?

Nicholas Edmond: 2 year starter

Joe Gaiter: What is your height and weight?

Nicholas Edmond: 5’10 240lbs

Joe Gaiter: What are the keys in playing running back?

Nicholas Edmond: In my opinion, Ball security is number 1. Speed, agility and footwork are all key factors, last but not least pass protection is a huge factor as well.

Joe Gaiter: What are your biggest accomplishments?

Nicholas Edmond: My biggest accomplishment would probably have to be getting my degree, I’m a first generation college graduate. Being invited to the FCS bowl was big for me as well especially coming from a small school.

Joe Gaiter: What are your strengths and weaknesses on the field?

Nicholas Edmond: Some of my strengths would be my football IQ. I always like to know what’s s going on with every position group, I like to understand concept rather than just going out and playing. I have soft hands and don’t drop the ball much. My speed for my size and also my strength. I believe my physicality and toughness is a strength as well. I could improve on my lateral quickness and my hips in and out of cuts. Overall I can improve in every category.

Joe Gaiter: When is your proday/combine?

Nicholas Edmond: I’m still waiting for an exact date, I’ll most likely be attending the University of Buffalo’s pro day.

Joe Gaiter: Where and with whom are you training?

Nicholas Edmond: I’m training at EliteU in Scottsdale Arizona with Coach Rube Oliver.

Joe Gaiter: Who is your agent?

Nicholas Edmond: Still in the process currently.

Joe Gaiter: Why should a NFL team pick you over another person?

Nicholas Edmond: I believe I’m a great pick because of my consistency on the field, my durability and reliability.

Joe Gaiter: Do you think that smaller college get the coverage they deserve?

Nicholas Edmond: I don’t think so. Smaller school players get overlooked a lot because of the “level of competition” but there is some dogs at every level we just need a chance to get to show out.

Joe Gaiter: What is your Plan B?

Nicholas Edmond: Plan B is to use my degree to teach in some way, whether that’s coaching or training.

Joe Gaiter: What is your motivation on the field?

Nicholas Edmond: I’m motivated by my family and friends who believe in me. I always want to make them proud for always supporting me.

Joe Gaiter: Do you have any regrets?

Nicholas Edmond: None. Everything I do is calculated and precise. Everything happens for a reason.
