Joe Gaiter: What does football mean to you?
Dorian Cowart: Football means the world for me. Growing up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida trouble isn’t too far away. I wanted better things for myself so football gave me the opportunity to make it out.
Joe Gaiter: Tell me about your new team.
Dorian Cowart: The team I’ll be playing for this upcoming 2019 season is the Sioux City Bandits located in Sioux City, Iowa. They are one of the top teams that participate in the CIF.
Joe Gaiter: What position and role will you play on your new team?
Dorian Cowart: As of now I will be RB and returning kicks , and working into slot, I believe my role would be a versatile play maker where they can use my explosiveness to create big plays on offense.
Joe Gaiter: What a message you want to send to your teammates and fans?
Dorian Cowart: The message I want to send to my teammates and fans is thank you for supporting me and helping me get to this point of my life and i couldn’t have done it without them.
Joe Gaiter: How will you adjust to playing arena football?
Dorian Cowart: It’ll be a little tricky at first learning all the rules and regulations that comes with it. As well as adjust to playing indoor and on a smaller field, so it’s less space but it’s something I can adapt too.

Dorian Cowart: Seasons starts at the end of March 2019
Joe Gaiter: What is your untold story?
Dorian Cowart: My untold story is a story of an underdog who got a chip on his shoulder.
Joe Gaiter: What has your football journey been to this point?
Dorian Cowart: My football journey has been a tough one. It had its up and down moments but success isn’t a straight path so i know that good things doesn’t come easy.
Joe Gaiter: Do you have any regrets?
Dorian Cowart: No, I have no regrets because I know In the end it made me a stronger person and it’s preparing me for a bigger blessing.
Joe Gaiter: What motivates you on the field?
Dorian Cowart: What motivates me on the field is my family, my brothers and sisters and everyone pushes me because I want to provide for them so they can be successful.
Joe Gaiter: What advice do you have for the 2019 NFL Class?
Dorian Cowart: My advice to the 2019 class is to keep grinding, things my get rough but keep pushing and working hard. Also to always keep God first. When you look back over your journey, was it worth it? Yes, looking back it was worth it because it brought me to this point in life to continue to play the game I love and the opportunity to continuing working on getting to the NFL.
