Charles Fairchild: Recruitment is fun but also a stressful at times because you don’t want to choose the wrong place.
Joe Gaiter: Why did you choose Paine College originally?

Charles Fairchild: I played a big role on the team all around defensively and offensively specially when our 2 key guys went down.

Joe Gaiter: Where will you be transferring next year?
Charles Fairchild: I will be transferring to…….. Point University!
Joe Gaiter: Congratulations! What attracted you to their program?
Charles Fairchild: I went where I felt like I was wanted the most. The coaches hit me up a lot. They made sure my family and I were good. They basically installed in my head that Point will be a great fit for me and my playstyle.

Charles Fairchild: Great defense, running the score up and having fun with it.
Joe Gaiter: What is your major and how do you plan on using it?
Charles Fairchild: My major at Point will be Media Studies. I plan on being a sports journalist/broadcaster.

Charles Fairchild: Outside of basketball my life is full of fun with my boys, chilling, playing games all day really.
Joe Gaiter: What is your untold story?
Charles Fairchild: Basketball wasn’t really going to be my go to sport until I touched it in high school.
Joe Gaiter: What do you want your legacy to be?
Charles Fairchild: I just want to be someone the kids look up to in all ways, not just basketball.
